Based on recent statistics, the population of centenarians in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the figure of male individuals reaching 100 has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. Over the same years, the amount of female centenarians increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are eager to listen to individuals who have reached 100, their loved ones or friends, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s transformative changes and shifts.
